Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Water Mitigation Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties affected by water, flood, fire, and mold damage. In this energetic role, you will respond swiftly to emergency situations, assess damage, and execute comprehensive mitigation strategies to help clients recover from devastating incidents. Your proactive approach and dedication will ensure safety, efficiency, and exceptional service throughout every project. This position offers on-call coverage, requiring flexibility to respond promptly to urgent situations and work in diverse environments. Duties Respond quickly to emergency calls involving water, flood, fire, or mold damage, demonstrating emergency response readiness. Perform water extraction, drying, cleaning, and mold remediation using specialized equipment and techniques. Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly to transport tools and personnel to job sites. Use hand tools, power tools, and carpet cleaning equipment efficiently for restoration tasks. Follow strict safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use and respiratory protection to ensure personal safety and compliance with industry standards. Document job progress accurately using Xactimate or similar estimating software; prepare detailed reports for each project. Assist with construction-related tasks when necessary to facilitate comprehensive restoration efforts. Skills Proven experience in water damage restoration, flood restoration, fire restoration, or mold remediation within the restoration industry. Strong knowledge of safety procedures including PPE use and respiratory protection protocols. Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and navigate various job sites confidently. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during stressful situations. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, Xactimate estimating software, and carpet cleaning equipment preferred. Ability to work on-call shifts and respond promptly during emergencies at any hour.
