If welding:
Perform ASME welding on pressure retaining and structural components per ASME VIII and B31.3 code standards. Primarily GTAW welding with the occasional use of SMAW and GMAW procedures Perform work in a permit entry confined space environment Perform all work safely and in compliance with applicable OSHA, ASME, Company and Client specifications Operate company and rental vehicles and equipment Cut, grind, and fit pipe and segments for welders Assist with performance of testing of pressure vessels and piping systems Bolt up piping assemblies Assist with leak detection and equipment inspections Assist with removal of insulation and structural components as needed to access work space Work off of Scaffolding and or arial work platforms as needed Handle basic issues and problems as they arise with the cognitive reasoning to refer more complex issues to higher-level staff Perform other general tasks as directed by your supervisor Report any near misses or injuries immediately to supervisor, HSE Manager, and Project Manager Be aware of all PPE and site-specific safety requirements Perform work under direct supervision Your Physical Work Environment Will Require… Able to lift objects 50+ pounds Able to work in extreme outside climates Work in confined spaces and at extreme heights - 250-300 ft +/- Unrestricted range of motion Able to pass a respirator fit test Able to work in a fall arrest harness Working 12hr days 7 days a week when on a job site Possession of or ability to obtain a passport for international work (preferred) Ability to travel without restriction in the US Competent in reading a tape measure Competent in the use of general hand tools and power tools Your Experience Should Be… Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter 0 to 2 years of experience in a welding, fitting, or construction capacity Welding certifications (Preferred) Stainless Steel TIG Welding (Preferred) Your Education Should Be… High school diploma, GED or equivalent Vocational school education (Preferred) Our Benefits Package… Medical, dental and vision insurance Employer contributions to an HSA account Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage Basic life insurance with the option to purchase supplemental individual, spouse and dependent child coverage Up to two weeks of paid family leave 401k retirement savings plan including a company match Chart Industries is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicants because of his or her race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, military status, marital status, genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law.
