No restoration experience is required. We are looking for someone who is dependable, works hard, is willing to learn, and is not afraid of physical work. Our water mitigation technicians respond to homes and businesses after water damage caused by broken pipes, appliance leaks, roof leaks, flooding, storms, and other emergencies. Your job is to help stop additional damage, remove damaged materials, set up drying equipment, document the loss, and help get the property dry as quickly as possible. We will train you. What You'll Do As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will: Respond to residential and commercial water damage jobs Extract standing water Move furniture and customer belongings Remove wet carpet, pad, drywall, insulation, flooring, and other damaged materials Set up air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA filtration, and other drying equipment Take moisture readings using professional meters Monitor drying progress Clean and disinfect affected areas Remove debris and damaged materials from job sites Load and unload equipment Keep trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Take job-site photos Enter notes, moisture readings, and documentation using a phone or tablet Communicate professionally with customers Follow company safety procedures Assist fire, contents, and other restoration crews when needed What This Job Is Really Like This is not a desk job. One day you may be extracting water from a finished basement. The next day you may be removing wet drywall and insulation from a house. Another day you may be setting up drying equipment in a commercial building, checking moisture readings, cleaning equipment, or helping another restoration crew.

You may work around:

Wet and damaged buildings Mud, debris, and construction materials Hot or cold environments Crawlspaces and basements Heavy equipment Wet drywall, insulation, carpet, and flooring Customers dealing with stressful situations Some jobs are dirty. Some jobs are physically demanding. Some jobs run longer than expected. Water damage does not always happen between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, so there may be occasional overtime, evening, weekend, or emergency work. If you are looking for a job where you sit around waiting for the day to end, this is probably not it. You must be able to:
