Jul 06 2026 00:00 McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Field Service Technician. McCoy Construction & Forestry, a growing John Deere construction and forestry dealership, is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join the team in Bowling Green. KY. In this role, the technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining construction and forestry equipment in the field, utilizing technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues. You'll work with a company that fosters a supportive environment and offers opportunities for professional development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority): Travel on location to examine machines to diagnose and repair a multitude of mechanical and system issues. Fabricates special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according to blueprints or schematic drawings. It maintains a clean work area, shop tools, truck, and equipment. Ensure work is performed safely and safe work procedures are followed throughout the department.
Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
Minimum of 5 years of heavy equipment -customer facing experience, heavy equipment construction & forestry diesel technology experience. Must possess a valid driver's license and Forklift Certification Ability to build relationships with customers while providing high-quality customer service. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills. Problem-solving aptitude
