We specialize in water damage cleanup, structural drying, and property restoration . Working on job sites providing the following services: Water pumping and extraction Mold remediation Moving & re-setting contents Selective demolition as required to accommodate the drying process Debris disposal Setting drying equipment Carpet or hard surface cleaning Capable of moisture mapping the affected area, inclusive of temperature, relative humidity, & moisture content readings Participating as directed in the following activities: Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections Ensure vehicle is cleaned and restocked at end of shift Constructing polyethylene enclosures Maintaining equipment Practice good housekeeping to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite Provide excellent customer service Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's property and information Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment Comply with all Restoration 1 policies and procedures Attend all Restoration 1 sponsored training coursesQualifications:
IICRC certification for Water Restoration Technician (WRT/ASD) expectation after 90 days IICRC certification for Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) an asset 2+ years industry related experience, Construction / Restoration / Insurance preferred Familiarity with chemical products including use, disposal, and Safety Data Sheets Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Restoration 1's vehicle policy Ability to work within a team or independently as needed Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Basic computer and/or Tablet / iPad experience Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends when requested Periodic travel may be requiredCriminal Record Check Physical Demands:
Frequent lifting from 5-40 lbs, unassisted (from 35-65% of the time) Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time) Access and mobility in tight spaces Fit Testing - half and full-face mask as needed; annual certification required Working at Heights - over 5 feet, periodically Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneelingDisclaimer:
