Water & Fire Clean up Restoration Technician -
Baton Rouge Position Summary:
We are looking for a dependable, motivated Mitigation/Restoration Technician to join our full-service restoration team. This role involves hands-on work in property damage cleanup, structural drying, and restoration projects. If you take pride in helping others and enjoy physical, fast-paced, and rewarding work, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification services Assist in fire, smoke, and odor cleanup and structural restoration Conduct mold remediation following industry standards Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment Document project details, including photos and moisture readings Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices
Qualifications:
Prior experience in mitigation, restoration, or construction preferred (training offered) IICRC Certification (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT) a plus Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments, including confined spaces and outdoors Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn
