Responsible for installing and servicing equipment (e.g., dishwashers, chemical dispensing equipment, and coffee, hot chocolate and juice machines), primarily located at customer sites. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.Position Responsibilities:
Responds to customer calls for service within 2 hours; on-call 24 hours per day within own individual territories (including holidays); on-call on a rotating basis. Maintains vehicle parts inventory. Orders and picks up parts for service calls, as necessary. Performs annual inventory of shop, truck, parts, and equipment, and monthly inventories of equipment. Maintains service vans, (e.g., tire pressure, fluids, washing/cleaning exterior and interior, etc.); reports any problems requiring vehicle repairs to Fleet Manager. Installs and/or removes equipment, as required (e.g., dishwashers, chemical dispensing equipment, and coffee, hot chocolate, and juice machines.) Evaluates and reconditions returned equipment; performs routine preventive maintenance for customers. Performs record-keeping, including service reports and equipment transfer sheets. Bills customers, as required, based on mark-ups and taxes; maintains catalogs and price lists; generates and responds to sales leads. - 6 Months - 1 Year Equipment sales and/or maintenance
- Valid Driver License, Valid and in State Preferred qualifications:
- 1 - 3 Years Equipment sales and/or maintenance within foodservice industry
