Packout - Team Lead American Packout Watertown, MA Job Details Full-time $54,000 - $60,000 a year 15 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Water damage restoration Customer service Fire restoration Warehouse experience Project leadership Mobile devices Full Job Description Contents Restoration Team LeadPosition Summary The Contents Restoration Team Lead leads crews performing pack-outs, inventories, contents cleaning, storage, and pack-backs following water, fire, smoke, mold, and other property damage. This position is responsible for crew performance, accurate documentation, quality control, and respectful handling of customers and their belongings. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise contents technicians on assigned projects. Review the scope and create a clear daily plan for the crew. Pack, photograph, inventory, label, transport, and store customer contents. Separate salvageable, non-salvageable, and questionable items. Oversee contents cleaning, deodorization, and pack-back services. Ensure fragile, sentimental, and high-value items are handled properly. Maintain accurate job notes, photographs, inventories, labor hours, and material records. Communicate progress, concerns, damages, and scope changes to the project manager. Inspect completed work for quality and documentation before leaving the jobsite. Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites, vehicles, equipment, and warehouse areas. Train technicians and enforce company safety and quality standards. Treat customers and their property with professionalism, care, and empathy. Qualifications Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for job documentation. Willingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, or emergency-response shifts. Restoration, moving, cleaning, warehousing, or leadership experience preferred. IICRC or related restoration certifications are a plus. Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently. Assist with heavier team lifts. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work for extended periods. Work in environments affected by water, smoke, fire, mold, or other property damage. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required. Performance Expectations Success is measured by accurate inventories, complete documentation, crew productivity, quality workmanship, safe operations, minimal property damage, and excellent customer service.
Schedule:
Full-time; occasional overtime, weekends, holidays, and emergency work may be required.
