We are seeking a skilled and motivated DME Field Technician to join our Independence HomeHealthWares team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for deliveries, as well as providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires a valid driver?s license along with strong physical and problem-solving and service skills while working directly with our customers and families as well as referral sources. Responsibilities Assemble, Delivery, install, maintain, lift, trouble-shoot and repair various equipment and systems in the field (hospital beds, wheelchairs, Hoyer lifts, power lift chairs, etc) Educate customers and their family members regarding the safety and use of DME equipment Maintain and organize warehouse used to store equipment, track equipment inventory, accurately document equipment repair, usage and relevant information Perform routine inspections, cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment Assembling products Collaborate with team members, healthcare professionals and referral sources and communicate effectively with clients for timely delivery of items Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines Stay updated with product industry trends, standards and advancements Qualifications Ability to lift and move heavy DME equipment Clean Driving Record Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools Ability to read and interpret directions Experience with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) is preferred but not required Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills Previous experience in field service or similar role is a plus Knowledge of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines and procedures_ Position is Part-time Position duration is Over 150 Days Shift 830-5p Hours per week 16-24 Days to work: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Benefits offered: Retirement Plan Sick leave Active Filters DME Field Technician South Yarmouth, MA Clear All Apply
