Mitigation Technician

Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Mitigation Technician to join our team in a fast-growing plumbing company. This role focuses on water damage mitigation related to plumbing and sewer issues, including backups, leaks, and system failures in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in active job sites, responding to urgent situations, and assisting in protecting homes and properties from further damage. This position is perfect for someone looking to build a long-term career in a company that handles both plumbing and restoration services. Responsibilities Respond to water damage and sewer backup situations caused by plumbing failures Perform water extraction, drying, and basic cleanup services Set up and monitor drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers Remove damaged materials (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.) as needed Work alongside plumbing technicians during sewer and water line repairs Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites Document job progress, including photos and moisture readings Follow all safety procedures, especially when dealing with contaminated water (Category 2 & 3) Provide excellent customer service during stressful situations Requirements Prior experience in mitigation, restoration, or construction (preferred but not required) Basic understanding of plumbing-related water damage (strongly preferred) Ability to handle physically demanding work, including lifting, demolition, and extended periods on your feet Comfortable working in confined spaces, basements, and affected areas Strong work ethic and ability to respond to emergency or after-hours calls when needed Valid driver's license IICRC certification (a plus, but not required) Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn and grow within the company Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to restoring homes and businesses with energy, professionalism, and care. Pay:
