Field Service Technician

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to expertly diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse range of utility trucks and equipment at customer locations. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime for our clients. Your contributions will directly impact our customers' operational efficiency and project success. Responsibilities Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair aerial, construction, and light- to heavy-duty truck equipment, including bucket trucks, digger derricks, and cranes. Troubleshoot and repair diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems to maximize equipment uptime. Conduct thorough inspections and perform necessary parts replacements and repairs on rental and customer equipment, ensuring compliance with DOT standards. Maintain a well-stocked and organized service truck to facilitate efficient field repairs. Complete detailed service reports and documentation to track repairs and maintenance activities. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Required Skills 7+ years of experience in shop and field service, with a focus on utility, construction, or heavy equipment. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Valid driver's license and personal tools. Proficiency in DOT & Equipment Inspection Compliance Preferred Skills Experience with aerial devices, digger derricks, and cranes (Terex, Altec, Elliott, Versalift). Familiarity with diesel engines (Detroit Diesel, Cummins, PACCAR) and after-treatment systems (DPF, DEF). Current CDL License
