Requirements:
Current, valid RN license in Michigan Minimum of 2 years' recent inpatient Med/Surg experience Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members Dedication to patient safety and high-quality outcomes
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Perform frequent assessments, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document appropriately Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and after-care instructions Respond rapidly to changes in patient status and appropriately escalate concerns Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards Support and mentor less experienced staff or students as needed This contract position offers you the ability to showcase your Med/Surg expertise, while gaining valuable experience in a supportive healthcare environment.
