Job Description

Route Service Technician Brief Description This position consists of performing preventive maintenance on DiHydro's Corrosion Control Units by conducting service calls during monthly & quarterly route visits. Tasks Deliver treatment solution to Corrosion Control Unit (CCU) locations. Inspect the equipment, amount of solution and any other material that affects the operations of the installed DiHydro process. (Preventive maintenance) Fill the equipment with specific treatment solution (if necessary) Take notice of any changes to equipment. Make necessary repairs to the CCU during each location visit. Perform water chemistry test as required (Kits are provided). All testing and repairs are recorded and turned in daily. Keep equipment and immediate area clear and orderly. Establish a working relationship with Building/Facility managers to discuss conditions of plumbing systems, problems, etc.…and to provide pro-active service and response. Record any immediate on-site repairs performed. Immediately communicate to Management of any changes or problems that are occurring in building and/or with customer changes. This position may require working overtime as assigned and other distributed duties within capabilities and skills of individual. Travel for work out of town is required as part of this position. Travel for Route. Service Technician is usually 4 - 7 days at a time and limited to once or twice annually. All expenses are paid by the company. Work with the Shop Foreman to get parts, solution, etc. caught up on a daily basis This position requires working on special projects such as freezes, chlorinations, water collection and assisting plumber/shop area if needed. Duties of a Route Service Technician are not limited to those detailed above and are subject to change according to the need of the employer. Employee should be able to adapt accordingly. Training will be provided. Requirements Background Check, 12 Panel Drug Test including DOT physical Exam is Required for this position. High School Diploma Mechanically Skilled Valid Driver License Exceptional Customer Service Skills, Ability to Lift up to 60-65 lbs Route Service and commercial plumbing background experience is an advantage.
