Our Motive Power Division specializes in powering forklifts, material handling equipment, and industrial vehicles with advanced battery and charging systems. Position Overview We're seeking a Motive Power Service Technician to join our Grand Rapids team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys mechanical work, solving problems, and providing excellent service to industrial customers. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair motive power battery systems and chargers at customer sites. Conduct diagnostics and performance checks on industrial battery equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety. Communicate effectively with customers to explain service work and recommend solutions. Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols. Travel locally to customer facilities as needed. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Experience with industrial batteries, forklifts, or electrical systems is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Basic computer skills for service documentation. Must pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and DOT medical exam. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
