- in our Specialized Field Services department as a Field Service Technicians III.
Travel:
30-50% overnight travel- Responsibilities
- + Provide technical capabilities for testing relays, circuit breakers, transformers, motor control equipment, and related switchgear in the field.
- Minimum Qualifications
- +
Education:
High School Diploma + Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Switchgear/High Voltage Technician. Proficiency with high voltage test equipment as well as knowledge of low and medium voltage test equipment. + Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables. + Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plain and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions of practical situations. + Ability to read company manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English. + Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors + Valid Driver's license and good driving record +Certifications & Licenses:
NETA 2 preferred + Ability to communicate effectively in English (inclusive of reading and writing) due to the nature of safety-related materials, documentation, and interactions with clients. + Prefer an Associate's degree from an accredited 2-year technical college in Electrical Power & Controls (EPC), or an Electrical Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited college, similar experience and training from the military (Army Prime Power, Air Force Electrical Power Production, or NAVY Seabee) \#LI-JJ1- Benefits & Compensation
