About the Role As a Field Service Technician, you will serve as a vital technical expert, ensuring the operational integrity of complex medical systems within clinical environments. This role offers the autonomy to manage your own territory while utilizing your mechanical aptitude to diagnose, repair, and optimize critical healthcare infrastructure. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on a variety of medical systems and peripheral components. Manage daily service operations by prioritizing urgent client needs, installations, and field upgrades to ensure maximum equipment uptime. Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to resolve escalated issues while maintaining meticulous digital documentation for regulatory compliance. Drive client satisfaction by providing transparent repair options and identifying opportunities to enhance system performance. Maintain high standards of safety and operational readiness while traveling to various client sites within your designated region. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of professional experience, including 2 years in a technical or mechanical capacity. Proven ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting, with experience in fields such as HVAC, plumbing, or industrial maintenance. Valid driver's license and the ability to pass rigorous background and credentialing requirements for clinical site access. Proficiency in basic computer systems, including mobile applications, email, and data entry platforms. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a customer-facing environment. Preferred Skills Associate degree or specialized technical certifications in mechanical or electrical engineering. Prior experience in military technical roles or field service environments. Demonstrated ability to adapt to flexible schedules and manage independent workflows.
