Position Overview:

The Vision Companies is seeking motivated individuals for a Water Damage Technician Apprentice opportunity in Ramsey, MN. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in restoration and environmental services. No prior restoration experience is required—training will be provided. As part of the mitigation team, you will work alongside experienced technicians and project managers to help restore residential and commercial properties affected by water damage. This position offers hands-on training, career growth opportunities, and exposure to a variety of restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Water Mitigation & Restoration Assist with water damage cleanup and restoration projects Remove damaged materials using hand and power tools Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment Assist with demolition and debris removal activities Support restoration crews in residential and commercial environments Learn industry best practices and restoration procedures Customer Support Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers Assist with project walkthroughs and job site documentation Help maintain a positive customer experience throughout the restoration process Safety & Team Support Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain clean and organized job sites Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

Required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work in a team environment Ability to work overtime and participate in on-call rotations Ability to work in varying weather conditions when required Preferred Basic construction, demolition, or labor experience Customer service experience Experience using hand and power tools
