Savage, MN Prefer local Candidates About the job Our Client is a family of companies representing 270+ locations and 4,000+ employees making up one of North America's leading value-add industrial distribution companies. They provide customers with products and value-added solutions within Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Repair. The primary responsibility of the Hydraulic Technician is to service and repair various pumps, motors, and power units including testing, trouble-shooting, repair and assembly.
Specifically you will:
Diagnose problems and give recommendations for repairs. Investigate hydraulic or pneumatic systems that are not working properly using schematics and diagnostic equipment. Inspect parts and various components. Determine if parts are re-workable. Write up the unit in a complete service report. Requirements Strong mechanical aptitude. Excellent troubleshooting skills. 1 to 3 years fluid power service and repair experience. Ability to read schematics. Strong attention to detail. Self-motivated and organized. Must be able to lift to 75lbs. Able to stand 95 to 100% of the workday Desirable Qualifications 2-year fluid power associate's degree and certification 3-5 years of fluid power experience .
Pay:
$26.00 - $34.00 per hour
