Job Description

Summary We're looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to provide installation support and technical expertise to our clients in the automotive OEM, tier 1 suppliers, and industrial sectors. This role is key in helping our customers maintain their systems' performance through hands-on troubleshooting, start-up support, and training. You'll work directly with both internal teams and external customers, ensuring successful installations and seamless operations, all while building relationships and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. Essential Functions Provide expert installation support and technical assistance to customers, distributors, and internal personnel. Oversee the installation of Liquid and Powder Coating systems, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. Collaborate closely with customers and installation contractors to ensure all system installations are completed efficiently and effectively. Conduct start-up, troubleshooting, and debugging of automatic electrostatic painting systems to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently. Train plant personnel on system operations and preventative maintenance to empower them to operate and maintain equipment autonomously. Ensure customer satisfaction with system performance through prompt troubleshooting and proactive solutions. Gather valuable customer feedback on product performance, providing insights for continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering, with experience in AutoCAD or similar design software) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to travel/be on the road 75-80% Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and an exceptional sense of integrity. Highly developed organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Strong attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Binks product line or similar systems. 1-3 years of electrical or mechanical experience in industrial settings, especially with small programmable controllers. Ability to read and interpret installation blueprints. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and team members. Adaptability to work in dynamic and diverse environments.
Pay:
$30.00 - $33.00 per hour
