Overview The Equipment Technician is a self-motivated, responsible, punctual, organized, and has excellent time management and communication skills. This position supports the physical repairs and maintenance of gym equipment at our Club Fitness and Club Elite locations. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and more! Core Responsibilities Travel to pre-determined locations within a geographical region. Manage a daily routine of service calls, perform repairs from service calls, perform repairs adhering to all performance protocols, and address emergencies as assigned. Duties will include maintenance, research, and troubleshooting of essential electrical components. Close attention to detail. Perform other duties as assigned, with the ability to perform professionally in a fast-paced environment. Complete reports and computer work daily for assigned tasks. Duties will include physical effort, to include lifting to a minimum of 50lbs. Bending, squatting, reaching, standing for extended periods, and using ladders and extension ladders with or without reasonable accommodations. Actively assists the team in the completion of goals, cost savings, and is accountable for actions and results regarding the maintenance of equipment repairs within the assigned region. Leaves the club with equipment in working condition and communicates appropriately. Required High School Diploma or equivalency. 3-5 years of experience, preferred experience working with strength, cardio equipment, hydro-beds, massage chairs, and other equipment. Required to maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a clean DMV report. Required electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of, and experience with, all tools, equipment, and materials used for repairs is required. Ability to understand technical documents required. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Daily physical activity includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and standing for prolonged periods of time.
