Job Description

Position:
Field Service Technician Job Description:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation equipment. The technician will work with the Service Manager to ensure proper installation of the equipment and proper operation of the equipment.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation equipment including, but not limited to center pivots, electric pump panels and motors, etc. Inspects the performance of the equipment to determine if there are any defects or failures that need attention. Interfaces with customer to determine if any additional services or repairs are needed. Willingness to travel to required training sessions. Ability to work overtime and Saturdays when necessary. Interfaces with other employees to determine work priorities. Other duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to safely operate a service truck in a variety of weather and field conditions. One year experience as a service technician in an environment requiring electrical, mechanical, and trouble shooting skils required. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must possess good judgment, organizational skills, problem solving abilities and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
