About the Role As a Field Service Appliance Specialist, you will serve as the primary technical expert for residential home systems, ensuring that essential household equipment is restored to peak functionality. You will play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction by delivering precise diagnostic solutions and reliable repairs for a wide range of major home appliances. Responsibilities Execute complex diagnostics and technical repairs on major household units such as refrigeration systems, laundry machines, and cooking ranges. Drive positive customer outcomes by clearly communicating technical findings and providing professional guidance on equipment care. Ensure long-term equipment reliability by performing comprehensive preventative maintenance and system inspections. Maintain high standards of operational efficiency by managing an organized inventory of replacement components and service tools. Document all service activities and parts utilization accurately to ensure seamless record-keeping and billing processes. Uphold rigorous safety and industry standards during every service call to protect both the client and the equipment. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent educational background. Demonstrated professional experience in mechanical or electrical appliance troubleshooting. Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities to resolve complex technical malfunctions. Excellent interpersonal communication skills for client-facing interactions. Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to service sites. Preferred Skills Formal technical certification or specialized vocational training in appliance repair. Advanced knowledge of modern smart appliance technology and digital diagnostic tools. Proven ability to manage a high-volume service schedule with minimal supervision.
