Overview Family-owned overhead crane provider based in Cleveland, NC. Our team takes pride in craftsmanship, honesty, and treating customers like family. We install, maintain, and repair overhead cranes for industrial clients across the region. Join our dynamic team as a Crane Service Technician, where your expertise will drive the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a wide range of crane equipment and industrial systems. As a key player in our maintenance team, you will utilize your technical skills to keep cranes and related equipment running smoothly, supporting our commitment to reliable service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and precision measuring instruments Utilize software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule upcoming tasks Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations related to electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and industrial maintenance Work independently or alongside team members in fast-paced industrial environments Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments, preferably with crane or heavy equipment service Strong knowledge of electrical diagnostics, schematic reading, electrical systems troubleshooting, and blueprint interpretation Hands-on experience with mechanical repairs and equipment troubleshooting Proficiency with job tracking software and generating work order reports Ability to accurately read schematics and electrical blueprints Strong communication skills in English Ability to work independently or as part of a team Work Conditions This role requires schedule flexibility. Technicians must be willing to work nights and weekends approximately 25% of the time , depending on customer needs and service demands. Candidates must also be fully comfortable working at heights, including operating scissor lifts and accessing elevated platforms during inspections, maintenance, and repairs. $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
