ARE SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN TO PERFORM MAINTENANCE, TROUBLESHOOTING, AND REPAIR OF POWER GENERATION EQUIPMENT

(50-2000 KW)

IN THE FIELD. THIS ROLE INVOLVES WORKING DIRECTLY WITH CUSTOMERS, ENSURING RELIABLE EQUIPMENT PERFORMANCE, AND DELIVERING EXCELLENT SERVICE. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel and natural gas generators
• Troubleshoot generators, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and control systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues
• Conduct load bank testing, breaker testing, and system diagnostics
• Service and maintain parallel and medium voltage systems
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Prepare and submit service quotes as needed
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding service work
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
• Provide professional, high-quality customer service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5+ years of experience in power generation or similar field
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with diesel and natural gas generators
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and in outdoor environments
• Willingness to travel (up to 50% with possible overnight stays)
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and noisy environments
