Ag Equipment Technician Responsibilities:

Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on CASE IH and John Deere machinery. Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment. Efficient worker able to deliver quality repairs in a timely fashion. Team player and people person who can communicate effectively with customers and team members. Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly manner. Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments. Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments. Working on a variety of Equipment including but not limited to tractors, combines, sprayers, planters, along with other ag-related equipment. Perform repairs and routine inspections Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions

Ag Equipment Technician Qualifications:

10+ years of experience performing service repairs including but not limited to CASE IH/John Deere. Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures. Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair - Ag/Farming background helpful but not required Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions. Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes. Proficient oral and written communication skills. Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly. Basic Service Technician certification preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate degree preferred.
