Job Description

Location:
Wayne, MI (38303 Michigan Ave)
Shift:
Mon-Fri, 2 PM-10 PM; occasional weekends with advance notice Summary Hands-on role supporting service operations in a painting facility. Responsible for monitoring systems, performing maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate records. Works independently after ~2 weeks of training. Responsibilities Travel to local customer sites to perform service work Test water; monitor sludge collection, temperature, and humidity Troubleshoot mechanical/technical issues and complete maintenance tasks Execute installation and preventative maintenance activities Complete reports (daily, weekly, monthly expenses, route tracking) Maintain detailed service records (issues, parts used) Respond to emergency calls (occasional nights/weekends) Build customer relationships and provide support/training Assist at other locations as needed Requirements Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills Basic knowledge: plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or devices (Bluetooth/cellular) Strong organization, communication, and time management skills Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel Self-motivated, able to work independently Education & Experience High school diploma or GED 0-2 years of experience Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR Work Environment / PPE Industrial/painting facility; exposure to polymers Tools provided Steel/composite toe boots required (above ankle) Safety glasses provided With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
