The team is committed to delivering quality service from the first call through project completion, positioning itself as a trusted force in property recovery. Role Description The Water Mitigation Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Las Vegas, NV. This role is responsible for responding to water damage emergencies, assessing affected areas, and implementing appropriate mitigation techniques such as water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification. Day-to-day tasks include operating restoration equipment, documenting damage and work performed, and maintaining clear communication with supervisors, teammates, and customers. The technician will follow safety protocols, assist with containment and cleanup, and help prepare spaces for repair and reconstruction. The role also involves participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies, ensuring timely service for residential and commercial clients. Qualifications Experience or training in water damage mitigation, structural drying, and use of restoration equipment (e.g., extractors, air movers, dehumidifiers). Knowledge of basic construction, building materials, and moisture detection tools; ability to read and follow job scopes and work orders. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain work being performed and maintain professional interactions on-site. Physical ability to lift and move equipment, work in confined or elevated spaces, and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company and industry standards. Valid driver's license with a reliable driving record and ability to respond to emergency calls as part of an on-call schedule. High school diploma or equivalent; IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration or related areas are a plus. Previous experience in restoration, construction, or facilities maintenance is beneficial but not required for motivated candidates willing to learn.
