Job Description

- We are looking for someone who can work independently from day one with little to no supervision.

- . Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours emergency response is required. Responsibilities
- Perform selective demolition after water, mold, and fire losses.
- Remove drywall, insulation, baseboards, flooring, cabinets, countertops, trim, and other building materials as directed.
- Remove tile, mortar beds, thinset, and flooring systems using professional demolition equipment.
- Operate demolition equipment including:
- Electric jackhammers
- Rotary hammers
- Chipping hammers
- Concrete grinders
- Circular saws
- Reciprocating saws (Sawzall)
- Oscillating multi-tools
- Hammer drills
- Utility knives
- Pry bars and hand tools
- Perform controlled flood cuts while minimizing unnecessary damage.
- Load, haul, and dispose of demolition debris.
- Protect unaffected portions of the home using plastic containment, floor protection, and dust barriers.
- Move and protect homeowner contents before demolition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, and office staff.
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship. Required Qualifications Applicants

- Previous restoration, demolition, construction, or mitigation experience.
- Ability to perform demolition
- independently
- without being shadowed or trained by another technician.
- Experience removing:
- Tile flooring
- Mortar beds
- Drywall
- Insulation
- Baseboards
- Cabinets
- Countertops
- Carpet and pad
- Vinyl plank flooring
- Laminate flooring
- Experience operating jackhammers and professional demolition equipment.
- Ability to identify structural components to avoid unnecessary damage during demolition.
- Ability to safely lift 75+ pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, confined spaces, and hot outdoor conditions.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to pass a background check.

- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Meeting with home or business owners to assess the damage they need fixed.
- Properly remove any approved materials, and place the proper amount of equipment for the space to facilitate drying.
- Conduct mold remediation activities, as well as fire restoration techniques, where applicable.
- Knowledge of fast drying practices and techniques to get the materials dry as fast as possible.
- Baseboard, Drywall, Cabinets, Counter top, Laminate Floor, Tile and several other building material removals.
- Monitoring your jobs daily, contacting and following up with homeowners for daily appointments.
- Taking moisture readings at each monitor, taking and uploading photos, readings, and notes into our job database for our in-house representatives to use.
- Creating work scopes to summarize activities in projects and to aid in invoice and estimate development for insurance companies and self-paying customers. Qualifications and Skills
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Must have 1+ years of experience conducting Water Mitigation, Mold Remediation, and Fire Damage restoration. Must provide proof of previous experience. Candidates with any certifications (IICRC
- WRT, AMRT, ASD, FSRT or related, etc.) pertaining to the above scope of work highly desired and will be strongly considered!
- Preferred experience working in Xactimate (inputting photos, data, and sketches)
- Operating Equipment (Moisture Meters, Thermal Imaging Cameras, Water Extractors, Commercial Dehumidifiers, Air Movers, Air Scrubbers, Injectidry, hydrometers)
- Recording and Documenting readings from Equipment
- Setting Up containment when necessary
- Strong Communication, both written and verbal.
- Positive "Can-Do" attitude.
- Ability to use and handle computer/tablet/smart phone
- Ability to work both within a team, and independently.
- Must pass a Background Check, Drug Test, and Driving Record Must be able to lift up to 70lbs All tools, equipment, computers, and work van provided by us.
