In this dynamic role, you will provide on-site installation and maintenance services for data center liquid cooling equipment and systems. Your hands-on skills and proactive approach will ensure optimal operation and customer satisfaction. This is the perfect opportunity for a skilled technician who is semi retired or wanting a part time position that involves travel. Please note, this is a part time project based position traveling nationwide. Duties Installation, maintenance, and repair of liquid cooling systems in a datacenter environment including electrical controls, pumps and electro-mechanical sensors and actuators. Read and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for field repairs and installations. Use diagnostic test equipment, including multimeters and related tools, to validate repairs and system performance. Travel extensively for overnight multi day field assignments and represent employer partners in customer-facing environments. Maintain professional customer communication, document service actions, and follow company safety and compliance procedures. Qualifications Basic technical skills, valid driver's license, squeaky clean background, and adventurous spirit 3+ years of field service experience involving electro-mechanical installation and repairs gained through military, technical, or manufacturing roles involving industrial machinery, HVAC, or other facility equipment. Technical literacy to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet project requirements. Comfortable with frequent overnight travel throughout the U.S. Strong customer service and communication skills for professional, on-site representation. Able to maneuver and stand for long periods of time, projects could involve ladders, raised floors and lifting of equipment on a regular basis. Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new systems.
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Willingness to travel: 100% (Required)
