JOB SUMMARY
: Rochester Midland Corporation is a chemical manufacturing company headquartered in Rochester, New York and provides water treatment, food and safety beverage sanitation, hygiene solutions, and sustainable cleaning technologies. Rochester Midland Corporation is seeking a The Field Service Technician II to provide service and consultation to all contracted Water Treatment accounts in Brionx, NY. Field service 2 would be a physical tower cleaner which would require power washing the inside of the cooling towers as well as boilers. This positioon requires climbing ladders, be able to physically lift the power washer machines. If used as a floater they will be required to service both boilers and cooling towers.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Develop positive relationships by maintaining continuing contact with accounts to promote the Company's products Schedule and perform service routes Provide services to customers in accordance with the Division's Minimum Service Standards Identify potential business opportunities and transfers to sales Handle and install various chemical dispensing and application equipment Handle and apply treatment products in an environmentally safe manner Installs and repairs all chemical feed, dispensing, application and control equipment Perform chemical cleanings and power washings of customer equipment Properly care for and maintain all Company-owned equipment including tools, instruments, safety equipment and vehicles Comply with company safety standards including safe vehicle operation Complete all administrative requirements including basic skills/safety training courses Ensure regular communication with service team members and sales personnel Other similar and comparable duties as required and assignedEDUCATION
High school or technical school diploma required Valid driver's license (clean driving record)EXPERIENCE
Maintenance, sanitation, and water treatment experience preferred. Basic pipe fitting and electrical ability requiredSKILLS:
Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical skills Competent use of tools & safety equipment Understanding of water treatment, cooling towers, and heating systems Experience in maintenance and repairs - CIP, plumbing and electrical experienceCOMPETENCIES

Sit or stand for extended periods of time Capability to move up to 60 lbs. by hand and 300lbs with use of hand truck Ability to climb stairs and ladders Visual acuity necessary to utilize computers and electronic devices Extra hours and some travel may be requiredSAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
