Boone Restoration is growing our emergency water mitigation team and we are looking for a driven Water Technician who wants to be part of a high-performing team that takes pride in doing the job right. Purpose To start, monitor, and complete water mitigation projects while delivering a professional, efficient, and customer-focused restoration experience. Responsibilities The Water Technician is responsible for executing water mitigation projects from setup through completion while maintaining high standards of organization, accuracy, and professionalism. This role includes setting and monitoring drying equipment, documenting project conditions using company technology, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and ensuring projects are fully dry before completion. The technician communicates professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and team members while maintaining a clean and organized jobsite. The role also requires participation in an after-hours on-call rotation and adherence to all company safety standards and procedures. Required Skills The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys a fast moving, always changing work environment. This role requires strong organizational ability, clear communication, and the discipline to complete work accurately even in fast-paced environments. Candidates should take pride in workmanship, maintain professionalism with customers and teammates, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve technical skills. Physical capability to perform restoration work and the ability to follow safety procedures are essential.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess a flooded building and devise a plan to mitigate to prevent further loss Remove damaged materials, set upmonitor equipment to dry a structure Ensure homes stay neat and clean during the project Detailed communication with the Homeowners, Co-workers, and Supervisor Maintain company vehicle and coordinate with fleet manager Maintain drying equipment and tools
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driver's License Able to work on average of 42-45 hours per week Experience in water mitigation work and willingness to learn Able to lift 50 pounds or greater Basic computer skills Willingness to work after hours for emergency work (on rotation) Dedicated Team member with drive for excellence and integrity
