Job Description
- This position is 1st shift.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis. Including research of potential warranty, rework and continuously repetitive repairs using historical equipment data available through Field Connect service platform. Perform service, maintenance, repair and installation on: Racking, Commercial doors; Loading docks; and general warehouse equipment. Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer's repair guidelines. Judgment and Decision Making- Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action. Inspecting Equipment
- Perform audits on equipment audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform. Communications
- Provide information to supervisor, co-workers, and subordinates by phone, in writing, e-mail, or in person.
Key Performance Measurements:
A score card that reflects performance in areas such as: PM Completion Tech Efficiency Customer Satisfaction Inventory Variance Work in Progress Safety Shop Cleanliness & 5S Management observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information. Other key performance indicators as assigned. Requirements Should have Mechanical, Commercial, and Industrial Maintenance related experience. Experience with repair and maintenance of: Warehouse and commercial doors; Loading docks; Dock-leveler's; and other related warehouse and industrial equipment. Welding experience a plus. Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills. Able to work at heights. Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision. Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices. Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs. Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word and Web Based Reporting Modules Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment. Capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently with a sense of urgency. High School or GED Diploma required.- This job description is subject to change at any time.
