About Us:
Valley Office Solutions has been the leading provider of print, copy, and file management systems in the Youngstown area for over 42 years, dedicated to delivering top-notch service and support to our clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Printer / Copier Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of office equipment or other similar mechanical systems. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude. On the job training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair Printers, Copiers, Scanners, and related business office equipment. Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on same. Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner. Provide technical support and training to customers on the proper use of Multi Function Printers. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities. Keep up-to-date with the latest technology and advancements in the copier industry.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a copier technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of copy machine mechanics and electronics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication and customer service skills. Experience setting up print drivers on common desktop computer operating systems is highly valuable. Previous experience in a technology support role is a bonus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
