Job Description

Field Service Engineer/Tech Job Description Provide solutions for any burner or related equipment problems that may arise in the field with little to no supervision Communicate professionally and effectively with personnel including plant managers, skilled labor, and internal team members Supervise and manage contractors or other personnel while on site Manage workflow based on customer expectations while on site Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure combustion systems are installed and operating correctly Perform start-up, operation, and troubleshooting of all combustion systems and/or equipment Create and submit detailed reports Qualifications Associate's degree in an Engineering discipline or comparable field experience Ability to travel a minimum of 60% Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to manage workflow and work crews while on the job site Must possess technical and mechanical skills including reading mechanical and electrical drawings, piping utilities from P&IDs, instrumentation, welding, and electrical wiring Must be able to troubleshoot independently and report back for assistance when necessary System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
