With four locations across Idaho and Washington, we take pride in providing our customers with industry-leading equipment and exceptional service. We are currently seeking an experienced Ag Equipment Technician to join our award-winning team. We are looking for a self-motivated, hands-on individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and is passionate about supporting the agriculture industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on a wide range of equipment, including customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural, commercial landscape, and outdoor power equipment, utilizing both basic and advanced diagnostic skills to ensure effective repair and maintenance.
Maintain current knowledge of CLAAS, MacDon, and Oxbo equipment as well as competitive products
Maintain the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
Travel to the job site to work on equipment, as well as perform repairs in a shop setting
Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion
Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
Account for all time on repair order and for all material used in performing assigned duties
Provide excellent customer service
Other duties as assigned by Management Qualifications & Experience Minimum three years of experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural or related diesel-powered equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Previous experience with agricultural equipment, hay and forage equipment, combines, tractors, or precision agriculture systems is preferred.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to diagnose, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on agricultural equipment using special tools, service information, and technical manuals.
Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
Experience using computerized diagnostic tools and basic computer systems preferred.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work overtime and extended hours during peak seasonal demands.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Effective verbal communication and customer service abilities.
Basic computer, phone, and data entry skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
