General Labor (Utility)

Your effort matters here - and your growth does too! We have an exciting opportunity for a General Laborer (utility) to join our team at our Sapulpa, Oklahoma location!

What You'll Do:

Assist with installation of water, sewer, storm, and other underground utilities Perform trench work, pipe laying support, backfilling, and compaction Utilize hand tools, shovels, rakes, and tampers throughout the workday Follow all safety procedures and identify potential hazards Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite Support the crew with labor tasks Other duties as assigned

What Skills You Need:

You possess good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to seventy-five (75) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting. Willing and able to follow applicable safety precautions, policies, procedures and protocols Must possess a valid Driver's License and a good driving record to drive company owned vehicles when necessary Willing and able to travel to and from job sites with occasional overnight stay You are comfortable with technology and possess a basic computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required. You understand that delivering to our customers on-time keeps us viable, and are willing and able to work overtime hours, which include nights, weekends, and holidays during peak times or projects

What Makes You Stand Out:

Minimum of two (2) years' experience within the Utility, Construction, Excavation, or related field

Pay:

$13.00 - $17.00 per hour
