Job Description

We are looking for a Conveyor Technician to join our Service Team! The Conveyor Technician is responsible for the proficient repair and service of all of the customer's equipment including conveyors and systems that Pengate sells and services. What You Will Be Doing:
  • Installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair all types of Conveyor equipment that Pengate sells and services.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to Pengate Handling, Inc., Scheduled Maintenance policy and procedures.
  • Prepares necessary documentation relating to each service call in a neat and accurate manner.
  • Proficient in lacing, splicing, cutting, vulcanized, and cold bonding belts.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record per company policy.
  • Follow customer's safety and housekeeping guidelines when performing repairs at customer site.
  • Mechanical, Electric, Pneumatic and software integration problem solving.
  • Perform alignment & tracking of belts.
  • Additional duties as required or assigned. What Makes Me Qualified? Industry experience
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years breakdown experience or comparable service experience. Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
