Job Description

Job Functions:
Must be available to travel up to 80% throughout the US and Canada. Must reside in PA Analyze work orders and plan daily travel schedule. Investigate customer issues and resolve problems. Diagnose error or technical problems and perform repairs. Maintain customer relationships and confidence. Perform life cycle management and preventative maintenance on equipment. Manage site installation. Provide emergency repair and service on location. Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge for onsite troubleshooting. Advise customers of manufacturer recommended service intervals. Provide training to customer personnel. Comply with all safety regulations. Prepare and submit Field Service Reports. Document services performed. Order and gather needed components. Track time and materials for services rendered. Utilize and maintain required PPE. Maintain work area in an organized and clean manner. Other functions as assigned. High School diploma required. Associate Degree in related field preferred. Technical training and locomotive or transit vehicle experience preferred. Knowledge of blueprint and schematic reading. Must have strong electrical and mechanical knowledge. Good communication and organization skills. Problem analysis and resolutions skills. Familiar with proper safety procedures including personal protective equipment requirements. Active listening and learning skills. Valid Driver's License. Interpersonal and customer service skills required. Must have the ability to travel 80% of the time. Will travel to sites throughout the United States including Milwaukee, Detroit, Dallas, San Francisco, El Paso and many more.
