Job Description

Our M/D Totco group is looking for a Field Service Technician in the Washington, PA area. An ideal candidate has a technical background with mechanical and electrical aptitude, is a self-starter, dependable, with a desire to grow in their profession and career. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing all NOV
  • M/D Totco rental systems throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Responsibilities:
  • Work independently with little supervision. Travel to customer locations to install, calibrate, test, and commission NOV-MD Totco equipment and software
  • Provide onsite training to customers in safe operation and use of M/D Totco systems
  • Perform general maintenance on NOV-MD Totco equipment and software including updates, upgrades, and replacement
  • Respond to and manage service calls that require more time than anticipated
  • Service calls may include troubleshooting and repairs, additional equipment requests, rig up/down equipment, etc.
  • Diagnose and solve problems from non-technical descriptions provided by customers
  • Possess superb customer service skills
  • Build positive relationships with customers
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports, billing tickets, and any other job-relevant documents
Job Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • AA Degree and/or equivalent experience with 2+ years of technical experience preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Willing to travel over 75% of the time
  • Work schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off
  • Willing to work 12+ hours daily during your schedule
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware
  • Willingness to be on call
  • Electrical background preferred
