Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing restoration services in residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water, mold, or other damages. This role requires a strong work ethic, technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in the restoration industry is required, IICRC certifications are highly preferred. The Restoration Technician plays a vital role in helping clients recover from property damage and restoring their spaces to safe, functional conditions. Responsibilities Perform water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials and prepare sites for reconstruction. Conduct cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning and general sanitation of affected areas. Assist with demolition, construction, and repair activities to restore properties to their pre-damage condition. Operate specialized equipment for drying, cleaning, and remediation processes. Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Document job progress and communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project status. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials. Skills Proven experience or familiarity with cleaning, restoration, or construction industries is highly desirable. Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and carpet cleaning techniques. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong understanding of the restoration industry standards and procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working in various environmental conditions. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact professionally with clients.
