  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in restoration, painting, sanding, construction and carpentry. This role involves working in shop to strip paint, sand, paint and rebuild wood windows, ensuring that the windows are installed back to the property in great working condition. The Restoration Technician will utilize both hand and power tools to perform tasks efficiently and safely. Responsibilities helping remove the windows from historic buildings and homes. Steaming, stripping paint and sanding in shop. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various restoration tasks. Infrared heat gun and power sander. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Skills carpentry a plus. Knowledgeable in finishing wood surfaces before painting. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Using infrared heat gun, power sander and hand sanding. knowledge of historic restoration a plus. Familiarity with the restoration industry standards and best practices a plus. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges on-site. Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality work outcomes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
