Job Description

BELFOR Property Restoration, the global leader in disaster recovery, is seeking a dedicated Water Damage Technician. In this critical role, you will provide rapid-response mitigation services to clients experiencing water & fire related emergencies. You will be the boots on the ground, handling everything from initial water extraction to structural drying and mold remediation, helping our clients rebuild their lives and businesses after a crisis. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive water extraction, moisture mapping, and structural drying on residential and commercial projects using specialized industry equipment. Build effective containment systems and safely execute mold remediation, selective demolition, and debris removal from affected areas. Carefully move, protect, and reset client contents using appropriate lifting techniques and protective materials. Maintain response vehicles and specialized equipment, ensuring everything is clean, fully stocked, and in perfect working condition daily. What You Bring Previous experience in water mitigation, construction, or restoration is preferred, but we will provide paid training for motivated individuals. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and eligibility to operate company vehicles safely. The physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces like attics and crawlspaces, and perform sustained standing or kneeling. Flexibility to accommodate emergency on-call rotations, occasional weekend work, and a sense of urgency in high-stress situations.
