Compressed Air Technician Responsibilities:
Perform service, diagnostics, and repairs on rotary screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, compressed air dryers, vacuum systems, and associated equipment. Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections, and performance checks across customer sites. Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime and ensure equipment reliability. Install and commission new compressed air equipment and system components, ensuring correct setup and operation. Service equipment from manufacturers including Kaishan, Sullair, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, and Kaeser. Maintain accurate service documentation, including work orders, service reports, customer contracts, and parts usage. Provide customers with clear technical information regarding system performance, corrective actions, and maintenance recommendations. Compressed Air Technician Requirements:
Proven experience as a Service Technician / Field Service Engineer within compressed air systems, industrial maintenance, HVAC, or related machinery. Hands-on experience working with air compressors, compressed air dryers, vacuum systems, or associated industrial equipment is highly advantageous. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Able to diagnose technical faults and provide effective solutions while working independently in the field. Reliable, customer-focused, and willing to undertake ongoing manufacturer training. Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and work safely within industrial environments. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record and willingness to travel across Ohio and western Pennsylvania as required.
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
