Job Description Job Description Field Service Technician Locations:
Kansas City, KS Kansas City, MO Chicago, IL Pittsburgh, PA We are hiring a Field Service Technician to join our growing team! As a Field Service Technician , you will provide on-site installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment across North America. This role is ideal for candidates with strong electro-mechanical experience who enjoy hands-on work in diverse environments and solving complex technical challenges.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, relocate, calibrate, and repair industrial machinery and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems Utilize
CRM/CMMS
systems to track service activity, manage work orders, and document repairs Provide exceptional customer service and technical support at client sites Travel up to 75%, including occasional international assignments Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED, Associate's degree, or relevant technical certification Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams Familiarity with machine controls/PLC systems, or willingness to learn Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain) Ability to pass a respirator fit test, physical exam, background check, and drug screening Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting heavy equipment Flexibility to work weekends as needed (with additional compensation)
