Field Service Technician Opportunity! Local employer seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join their team. This role is responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment in the field, ensuring all work meets quality standards and is completed efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical abilities, attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment using a variety of tools and diagnostic methods Perform onsite repairs on battery-operated and corded floor scrubbers and sweepers, ride-on scrubbers and sweepers, battery and corded upright vacuums, and minor repairs on commercial dish machines Install chemical dispensing systems on commercial dishwashers and three-bay sinks Utilize diagnostic tools—such as ohmmeters—to assess electrical components and systems Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, parts usage, inventory, and time spent per job Communicate repair status, recommendations, and preventive maintenance needs to customers Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies Collaborate with the team to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction Qualifications Previous experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical role preferred Proficiency in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license required High school diploma or GED Technical certifications or related training are a plus Apply Today!
