Location:
Exton, PA (West Chester Area) Weston Solutions is seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our emissions testing field team and environmental monitoring equipment is fully operational, calibrated, and ready to support projects across the organization. Expected Outcomes:
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting a wide range of field and monitoring equipment.
Your day-to-day will include:
Equipment Maintenance & Repair Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate air monitoring and environmental testing equipment Maintain, clean, and service equipment within the IAS Equipment Store inventory Diagnose issues with returned equipment and document findings Equipment Preparation & Distribution Prepare and fulfill equipment requests for field teams, ensuring all necessary accessories and calibration gases are included Mobilize and demobilize mobile test trailers for project deployment Receive returned equipment, inspecting for damage, contamination, and completeness Fleet & Facility Support Assist with fleet maintenance and repairs, ensuring vehicles meet DOT compliance requirements Maintain organization and functionality of equipment storage areas Support general shop operations, including cleaning and preparing lab glassware Inventory & Reporting Order parts and supplies as needed to support repairs and maintenance Complete weekly and monthly activity reports Safety & Compliance Participate in safety training and programs, including hazardous material and environmental awareness Ensure all equipment is calibrated, certified, and safe prior to field use
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical school training preferred) Hands-on technical experience, ideally in equipment repair or maintenance Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, including experience with pumps, gauges, and small engines Working knowledge of electronics and instrument calibration Familiarity with environmental or health & safety monitoring equipment is a plus Additional Requirements Must live within 30-40 minutes of the Exton, PA or be willing to relocate Valid U.S. driver's license with a good driving record Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening Comfortable with occasional, limited travel to deliver equipment or provide onsite support We fully invest in our people : Weston provides a generous, comprehensive benefits package program that offers employees high value options with solid financial protection, meeting the personal needs of its people and their families.
