Description:
Field Technicians are assigned to support a customer within a specified geographic area. As a Field Technician, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers on technical and service-related issues. You will troubleshoot, install, and resolve problems accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnoses and performs service, repair and/or installation of computer products including system hardware, software, MFD printers, wide format printers, PC's, laptops, POS, single and multi-processor servers and wired/wireless networking. Performs account management and maintenance for various applications and systems Implementing basic cable management:?Organizing cables using trays, raceways, or ties to prevent damage and improve airflow. Provide technical assistance to customers while onsite Perform routine maintenance on laser and wide format printers to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. Responsible for personal quality of workmanship and taking all necessary precautions to prevent customer service disruptions. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions Maintain OEM certifications as assigned and required Skills & Qualifications Knowledge?of?computer?hardware, software, printers, networking, cable?management/installation, and common restaurant technologies. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. Possess strong communication skills, attention to detail and strong technical ability. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize issues, and maintain accurate records. Willing to utilize a ladder (10 ft. reach). Able to lift 50 lbs. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
