  • Maintain and repair wastewater infrastructure by inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing lift stations, pump stations, sewer mains, service lines, pumps, motors, valves, manholes, and related collection system components.
  • Monitor system performance through daily review of SCADA and monitoring systems, collection of operational data, response to alarms, and maintenance of accurate work orders, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
  • Respond to operational and emergency issues including sewer backups, equipment failures, and emergency repairs.
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment including VAC trucks, jet cleaning machines, CCTV inspection equipment, pumps, trailers, power tools, and other heavy equipment used in wastewater maintenance and construction.
  • Support wastewater system improvements by assisting with new installations, repairs, bypass pumping, GIS data collection, smoke testing, line inspections, and other maintenance, construction, and infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Maintain a rotating on-call schedule, ensuring timely response to wastewater system needs while supported by Wastewater Services Division. Foundational Skills You Will Bring
  • Valid Drivers's License
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years' experience in construction, maintenance, and/or repair of wastewater systems or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

$24.78 - $26.94 per hour
