09/02/2026 Job Description Job Description Summary/Objective The field service technician performs on-site repairs and maintenance of RENK sleeve bearings. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Performs emergency and scheduled maintenance and repairs of RENK sleeve bearings at customer job sites. Performs mechanic work including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair. While in the office, remotely provides technical expertise to help customers troubleshoot. Assists in the shop, where needed, while in the office. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and/or vibration. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, for a total of 38 hours per week. Overtime/additional work time is required when necessary. Travel Domestic and international travel is required for this position, up to 60%. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 5 years' experience with service/repair of bearings or similar industry. Working knowledge of the metric system. Ability to read/understand blueprints. Preferred Education and Experience Technical degree. Rigging experience preferred. Experience with sleeve bearings, rotating equipment, and industrial gears.
