Job Overview Lone Star GlobalTech, LLC is a local technology company serving small businesses in Amarillo and surrounding areas. We provide managed IT services, Microsoft 365 support, networking, cybersecurity, backups, phone systems, security cameras, low-voltage services, and on-site field support. We are looking for reliable Field Service Technicians to assist with on-site technology work for local business clients and field service dispatches. This is a contract, part-time role with a flexible schedule. Work may include IT support, network troubleshooting, device installations, smart hands support, camera work, cabling assistance, equipment swaps, and documentation. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at customer sites. You do not need to know everything, but you must be reliable, coachable, and able to follow instructions carefully. Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations in Amarillo and surrounding areas
- Perform basic to intermediate on-site IT and technology support
- Assist with computers, printers, network equipment, phones, cameras, access points, and other business technology
- Provide smart hands support for remote engineers, vendors, and internal team members
- Install, replace, label, test, and document equipment as instructed
- Take clear photos before, during, and after work
- Complete professional job notes and service documentation
- Communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and the internal team
- Follow assigned scope of work and escalate before performing out-of-scope work
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing Lone Star GlobalTech

- Basic low-voltage support Requirements
- Reliable transportation

- Comfortable working at business customer locations
- Basic understanding of computers, networks, cables, and common office technology
- Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed
- Availability for scheduled dispatches during normal business hours
- Must be dependable and punctual Preferred Qualifications
- Previous field service, IT support, low-voltage, telecom, camera, POS, or networking experience
- Experience with routers, switches, access points, firewalls, printers, or business phone systems
- Experience with field platforms
- Basic cable testing and troubleshooting experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- OSHA, low-voltage, networking, or manufacturer certifications are a plus but not required Compensation

- 40 per hour depending on experience, tools, reliability, and scope of work

Work volume may vary depending on available dispatches, client needs, and project schedules. Technicians are expected to follow scope, communicate clearly, take photos, complete documentation, and represent the company professionally.
